The course includes the basic concepts of bee colony behavior and the defense mechanisms, the good beekeeping practices for the sustainable management of hives to the development of beehives and the treatment of diseases and enemies focusing on the protection of the bee and the consumer. There is also emphasis on bees’ flora and the effects of climate change on it, the relationships between bees and plants, as well as on the production, after-harvest management and distribution of quality beekeeping products.
